Think PositiveWe al have at one time or another encouraged someone to think positive or engage in positive emotions. Everybody knows that having positive thinking emotions is a good idea, but don’t know exactly how. In this article, we will discuss how positive thoughts and emotions can make our lives more thriving.

We know that our emotions have their specific purpose. Negative emotions such as sadness, fear, anger, or disgust prepare us mentally and physically to take immediate action against something that appears to be a threat.



Positive emotions such as joy, optimism, love, happiness, fulfillment and gratitude help us to grow as a person, encourage us to take positive action, solve problems, improve the quality of our relationships and increase our sense of emotional well-being.

While positive thinking emotions broaden the extent of our thinking and actions, negative emotions narrow and sometimes even block our thinking and actions. When we experience positive emotions, we have a greater preference for taking many different actions and see and think of more possibilities and options to solve any problem we face. Positive people are more likely to take action because they are proactive.

It is much easier to adopt positive thinking if you live in a happy and positive environment where people value success and self-improvement. Those brought up in poor and difficult conditions find it extremely hard to accept and deal with difficulties and failures.

Usually people let external events and circumstances shape their beliefs from an early age, as they tend to observe things with their predominant mental attitude. Somebody having a belief of failure is more than likely to sabotage all his or her opportunities to succeed.

Being reluctant to meeting other people and developing close relationships with them will make you avoid meeting people and maintaining relationships. However, you will eventually find yourself complaining about how lonely you are and that nobody loves you. You don’t see anything good going on in your life and relationships.

If you often think about failures, catastrophes and wars and tend to focus your attention to all the negative news on the TV or newspaper headlines, you will find yourself in a negative state of mind that stops you from improving your life or health. All this abusive information tends to sink in your subconscious mind and let the power of negative thinking grow and radiate negative energy that creates and recreates more negativity, failures and disasters.

If you think in terms of you don’t deserve more money and a better health, you tend to close your mind and wipe out opportunities in your life. You have allowed the power of negative thinking to take over your life. Remember that the mind tends to examine and evaluate thoughts before accepting them and if it notices and reads negative thoughts, your mind accepts it as the standard thinking and behavioral patterns.

It is you who has the power to determine the outcome of your thoughts and decide if they are beneficial, negative or detrimental. You need persistent and committed inner work to change your thoughts. By putting the energy and time into avoiding negative thinking and instead, pursuing positive thinking you will experience life-transforming circumstances.

Each time you feel the negative vibes, change them into positive ones. If you visualize failure, convert your thoughts by visualizing success. If you repeat negative words like ‘I can’t’ change them by using positive statements like ‘I can’ and ‘I am great’. Change all the useless and harmful negative words and phrases in your mind into positive utterances. Using positive affirmations and inspirational quotes is a great start.

CONCLUSIONS:


When we create a habituated way of engaging in positive emotions, in time they can become life transforming. Therefore, it’s all up to us to reject life threatening emotions and increasingly create more of life’s enhancing emotions.

Develop a habit of thinking only in positive terms and eliminate all the negative ones. Adopt a more positive attitude, attend to events, happenings that promote and abound in well-being thoughts and emotions, and start looking for them and thinking about them so that you change your life into an enchanting and wonderful journey.
