We all know that each person is unique, but still some are more “unique” than others are. Moreover, it does not seem fair that some people, that have the same training as others, achieve extraordinary results, while others still dream of them.
What makes the difference between the average and even successful individuals? Mental visualization.
It is a fact that visualizing the results is the key to achieving your dreams. Visualization is a success technique, one of the most important techniques that you can learn and apply with ease and with great results in the improvement of your life.
It is quite easy to understand how this can work: it is known that our mind works with images and pictures. However, our unconscious does not make a difference between what is real and what is just in our imagination. Therefore, your unconscious mind will drive your actions in a certain manner, in order to create the exact picture of what is in your mind. If you imagine yourself all the time in possession of your aim, your unconscious mind will provide actions that will reproduce the mental image that you hold.
It is not difficult to learn how to create the life that you really want; you just have to follow a few steps. First, create a mental picture of your desire, make a drawing of what you want to accomplish. This picture has to be the equivalent of your goal.
Picture yourself in the vision; it is better than watching yourself achieving the scope. You must create a perfect picture, this has to be so real that you have to start believing that the goal is already achieved and the success is already yours. This is the most important issue!
The next step is to experience your vision. Be in it; feel, hear, see; use all the senses, just as if you already achieved the goal. Be happy, just like you would be if your goals were already accomplished. Create the emotion of the moment and let it be scattered in your whole body.
Use every opportunity you have to visualize your goal; while you are on a break, at a stop light, before the next meeting, whenever you find the time to make this. The more frequently you project it in your mind, the more rapidly you will get closer and closer to your goal, and you will soon discover that the results will not be long in coming, that the quality of your life will be increased.
Start your day with the mental image and let this be the last thing you see at night, before sleeping. In the morning, right after you wake up and just before you go to sleep, these are the best moments of the day to visualize your goal, because your unconscious becomes very receptive to your ideas and dreams, especially if your thoughts have a huge emotional charge.
So, don’t think too much on this, just let your mind dream of what you want most, create a drawing in your mind, see every little detail in it, be a part of it, build a whole plan and visualize it as often as possible.
You will see that eventually, depending on how hard you want to achieve your goal and how much time you invest in it, your life will be improved and this will be the moment when you will realize that visualization is indeed a great technique for achieving your goals. That is why all high performers use it!
