Music and Synchronicity-How can music boost your awareness

“Synchronicity is the coming together of inner and outer events in a way that cannot be explained by cause and effect and that is meaningful to the observer”. – Carl Jung

SynchronicityIf you want to observe synchronicity more closely into your life, I have a little experiment for you. This will cost you some money, but if you can afford it, it may be worth it for the endless hours of mind-growth, amazement and guidance, if you are receptive and open-minded to it.

Try to find a reasonably priced 1-3 GB mp3 player (depending on the size of your collection). After buying an mp3 player, place all of your CDs in it and put it on “shuffle” or “random.”

If you are open and receptive to the concept of synchronicity, you will eventually be able to notice how the music that is playing will often correspond with what your are doing, thinking, or feeling.

You may have already noticed music synchronicity while listening to the radio. However, there are many advertisements (which, like everything else, can be sources of synchronicity but are often annoying) and you will not be able to customize the music to your values and beliefs the way you can with a multiple-disc CD player.
Synchronicity of course works with 256 RAM mp3 players, but to give the “voice of synchronicity” a larger “word list” it would be great if you could find an mp3 player that is capable of holding your entire collection of CDs. I would like to strongly recommend that you only add to your list the songs that do reflect your values or self-concept.

I believe that the information we assimilate is a conscious – or subconscious if we’re not paying attention – way of programming ourselves. Therefore, if we absorb songs about death, helplessness, guilt, and so on, then we are programming ourselves to reflect these attitudes, and manifest these experiences in our lives.

Besides, remember that you can determine who you are. Synchronicity may reflect who you are, and it may challenge your inner self by presenting options, but you always have the freedom of choice and are always creating who you want to become.

There are infinite possibilities that need only intent to become real. In order to truly observe something, you must put aside everything else around it. It is perception and observation that turns possibilities into something real.

You have to be looking for new opportunities that will open up to fulfill your desire. These opportunities do not happen by mere luck, but rather they occur because they were created by your intent.

Synchronicity sounds a lot like the Law of Attraction (or vica-versa.) What we focus on, is what we manifest.

Whether it is Synchronicity, or the law of attraction, or creative visualization, its all the same definitions of a power we hold within us all. Im a big fan for playing music to stimulate a certain emotional response from my self or others that i coach. But i never really looked at synchronicity as a fundamental influence as to what i play, when i play it, or who i play it too. I been aware of the coincidences of my life or other peoples lives, but didnt really dive into what it can possibly mean. I thankyou for this insightful post of the magical blend of events which create our daily reality. I am definately going to research it to greater depths.
